Success breeds success. Not sure why this is surprising as it happens in every walk of life. Tell your team to win more and they will benefit from it too, eventually.

I didnt know we had played yet. You are all wrong according to the committees criteria. The Committees own criteria state that SOS, Conference Championships and head to head only kick in VS. Similar Teams.

Everyone talking about how Conference Champs is the be all and end all doesnt even know what in the hell they are talking about.

LINK

How To Select the Four Best Teams to Compete for the College Football National Championship(Adopted unanimously by the BCS Group – June 20, 2012)

When circumstances at the margins indicate that teams are comparable, then the following criteria must be considered:.......THEN....ONLY THEN. If Ole Miss has two losses, one a blowout and one to Memphis, how is Bama and Ole Miss similar ?

Championships won
Strength of schedule
Head-to-head competition (if it occurred)
Comparative outcomes of common opponents (without incenting margin of victory)

Some of the guidelines and protocols expected to be established to guide the committee would include, but not be limited to, the following:

While it is understood that committee members will take into consideration all kinds of data including polls, committee members will be required to discredit polls wherein initial rankings are established before competition has occurred;
Any polls that are taken into consideration by the selection committee must be completely open and transparent to the public;

Strength of schedule, head-to-head competition and championships won must be specifically applied as TIE-BREAKERS between teams that LOOK SIMILAR; (( Catch This ? It is ONLY USED AS A TIE-BREAKER VS SIMILAR TEAMS !!!

Committee members associated with any team under consideration during the selection process will be required to recuse themselves from any deliberations associated with that team;

{{{ In other words, Confeence Titles only matter if teams are SIMILAR. }}}
