That's my understanding.
The similarities in the Auburn nation response to the Trojan response is disconcerting. Universal denial: all allegations/no proof, dismissal of facts by calling all the messengers haters, or envious (actually, they said jealous, but they meant envy), evolves to the Clinton defense: everybody does it...and finally appealing on grounds of undue severity when the inevitable sanctions fell on the Unrepentant Serial Cheaters.
Only the last step remains unrepeated...
