Going to Neyland Stadium for the first time on November 18.
Looking at the parking map, it appears all the open lots and garages around campus are for donors only with season passes. Is that true? If so, what do the non-season parking pass holders and visitors typically do for parking? Do a lot of fans use the shuttle? Shuttles scare me after the game because normally it is a cluster.
TIA.

The shuttles are phenomenal imo. They run to locations all around Knoxville with a couple in surrounding towns I.e. Maryville.
They beat the traffic when leaving, but you're easily able to stay the entire game, file out of Neyland, and walk the ~half mile to where they're parked, and still have plenty of time before they depart.

Idk if that's the same shuttle service as the one that I used to take as a kid from Maryville, but it's the same concept.

Lol, you could probably just park next to Neyland stadium. Nobody's gonna be there

Park in the vols endzone, it will be unoccupied

There are several options, assuming you are arriving the day of the game. One is to pay to park north of The Strip in Ft Sanders. Should be $10-$25 and it is a 15-20 minute walk to the stadium. Plenty of tailgating in this area.
