Looks really good the only thing I really dislike is how small the video boards are.

Town Branch is near campus. Woodford Reserve is in Versailles outside Lexington. Buffalo Trace is in Frankfort. Wild Turkey is in Anderson Co...To answer your question, many of them are 30 minutes from Lexington.

Thanks!
Each of those sounds ridiculously reasonable, in terms of a day trip.
Can't wait.

Yeah, we went to Woodford's Reserve Saturday morning. Awesome experience. Definitely one of the best road trips in the SEC.

Good to know.
It's going to be a great one, I know!

There's so much to do all around that area. We spent Friday night in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky for a Reds game (although it got postponed), Bourbon Trail and ballgame Saturday, and then took a little drive to Mammoth Cave Sunday morning, and finished the weekend in Louisville. Even took in a minor league ballgame last night.
Wish we had more time!

Outstanding.
That's a full-slate for sure.
Were y'all able to see any horse farm tours?
Does anyone open their facilities to the public like that?
Just curious.
Thanks for the info.

No tours, but the farms are everywhere. In fact, Woodford's has a thouroghbred farm. Just gorgeous countryside. It's even better later in the fall when the leaves are changing colors.

The stadium is awesome. I wasn't able to enjoy it much in the second half

Listen, I get LSU fans getting butthurt with the "Louisiana" label. But that is what I heard the play by play guy said they were during the interview on the Tom Leach Show.

No butthurt but they are the University of Louisiana at Lafayette not "Louisiana" or University of Louisiana. The play guy was wrong and needs to be corrected.

Well, the team had Louisiana on their Unis. Seems this is a sore subject with little brother and LSU fans.

Kind of small, but it's cozy. I think it's very well done and is a great looking stadium.
Reminds me of a larger version of Sporting KC's stadium with two-tiered sideline seats.
