I've lived in NY, both upstate and in NYC. Trust me, the morons extend far beyond the politicians. Like, y'know, they do everywhere.

How about it was just gross, and doesn't have anything to do with being offended?
How about the huge majority of the viewing audience almost certainly also thought it was pretty gross - whether in support of homosexuals or of the anti-gay point of view.
I didn't tune into the NFL draft to watch a huge black dude get his bicep rubbed on by his little white boyfriend and then watch them kiss FOUR different times - the last in which they had cake on their faces.
That's gross.
It doesn't have anything to do with being offended or supporting or not supporting homosexuality.
It was just gross.
That is all.
