This by no means is this funny. If he was involved in this crash as well, the guy is on a serious suicide mission. Does he not have family and friends that can help him? I guess one has to want to help themselves though!

Can't help those who do not want any help.

Let the guy party if he wants

The media since the beginning was set out to destroy not just his career but him

Yeah bro totally. That's a terrible case of defending a loser just because he was good while he went to your school.

He's definitely in a bad place, and the trajectory is consistently down. I can't and won't defend his bad decisions.

That being said, your thread title is distasteful. You can make the same point without the shock factor.

Maybe it was distasteful but how should I have worded it?

People knew that Belushi and Farley were on the path for destruction and how did that turn out?

Pretty pathetic when Aggie fan says let him party and that the media ruined him.

Sorry to disappoint that you thought this would be funnier, again!

"The media set out to destroy him"? Good Lord. One of his major problems in life, apparently, is that everyone around him, family, friends, coaches, have all enabled him & let him do pretty much everything he wanted to do. Even his best friend said that was happening back in high school. The media had nothing to do with "destroying his career". Do you aggies still think that he did not sell his autographs, at the risk of throwing his teammates under the bus? Had he been suspended, their whole season could have gone down in flames. The media certainly sensationalizes him, but how many other former college/current pro football players have the track record that he does? And I am sure his parents are content to "let him party if he wants". His own dad said that he was worried about how long he would live.
