BVG isn't going to be fielding UGA 2002-04 esque defenses in the first couple weeks of the season. C'mon.

They'll still be better than anything we've fielded the last 3 years.

I'm guessing that's from the playoff game last year against the Packers.

Is Auburn supposed to have a really good Defense or something???

Last year they were young but didnt wow me much. I think we ran for like 375 yds vs them.

How did that work out for you?

Are you expecting to run for like 500 yards vs them this year?

your 2010 defense was at least capable of average play every now and then. average would be a giant step from last year.

Gotta start somewhere. It has to be somewhat comforting to have a job where the initial bar is set so low.

A Top 50 defense gets him a huge pay raise.

The expectation of having BVG will be a Top 25 D at years end...prob not by Sept 8.

I wonder if BVG even wants to be a HC again. He was such a colossal failure his first go around. Wonder if he's ever said if he's looking to get back to the top spot.

Relf was awful for the most part last year. We've had NFL backs dating to J.J Johnson in the 90s so I doubt we'll be missing much there.

A record against part of a division is irrelevant.

Yeah, the goal is to win the West. Which helps MY point. The entire SEC record matters, not the record vs. just 4 particular SEC teams.

If you play those 4 teams every year and never beat any of them, it is pretty important to not being able to achieve the goal of winning the West.

Nick Griffin (RS Soph) & Josh Robinson(RFR) will get the most touches for us. Really excited about Robinson. He's like a pinball on the football field.

You can't win the West without beating the teams in the West. That doesn't help your point. You can't go 1-4 against the West every year and ever expect to play in Atlanta.

Be honest, you're just content beating Ole Miss every year.

True, but we do return Perkins and he had about 100 yds against yall.

Nick Griffin is a RS Soph who will get a lot of carries this year and is built similar to Ballard if not a little bigger. We also have a RS FR named Josh Robinson who is our secret weapon.

And Dak at QB can run the ball just as effectively as Relf.

He didn't play good against you either. He just had good stats.
