why not just say Auburn is better right now? We beat State head-to-head last season

at your place

Auburn has beaten a Sylvester Crooms coached team 3-2 and a rebuilding Mullen in year 2 17-14 when Auburn had the best one year QB in NCAA history on its last 2 trips to Starkville.

Big difference in the way State plays at home vs away. When you have 2 even teams, take the home team.

well, ranking by position- ESPN gives us the edge 4-3- with all groups being close except our Secondary being much better than yours.
1st mistake - Using ESPN for position rankings
2nd mistake - Using position rankings at all

Phil Steele puts us at 3-3-1...
3rd mistake - Didn't he predict Auburn go to 4-8 last season? Yeah, terrible.

OK, cool. You said that wouldn't help us last year, but now it's supposed to help State?

I think you are still living off the beat down of Michigan a couple years ago. Be honest with yourselves. That team, in that game is the team every State fan would sell his soul to see run out on the field every Saturday. You guys have yourselves convinced that that is the team that is gonna show up and play AU. It's not gonna happen though. That team was a one game aberration.

By all accounts, Robinson will be our starting left tackle, and he's supposed to be the best one we've seen in a while. That's really saying something when you think about Lee Ziemba. Now, with Westerman, I'm not quite sure. Him, Chad Slade (might play right tackle), Eric Mack, and John Sullen can all play guard. From what I've seen, the starters might be:

Robinson
Eric Mack
Reese Dismukes
John Sullen
Chad Slade

But hey, I have no clue...

I'd prefer John Sullen not start. He's soft.

Read it three times and every time it came out as

That team was a one game abortion.

Try reading it again, and read it slowly. Don't worry, the other kids won't make fun of you. Just take your time and sound out all of the words.

Didn't realize that Loeffler is running the same offense as Malzahn.

He isn't. Be that as it may, Malzahn isn't the only person in the country who uses a read-run attack. So, I'm not really sure what you are getting at. My understanding from what my Auburn friends have represented is he has some pro formations, a place for the fullback, and some read-run concepts.

If I was him, I would look at the footage from last year, and see that your team rushed for 235 yards and 6.5 an attempt and consider probably doing that again.
