It’s a curse I guess. Too bad UGA couldn’t have gotten blown out by a healthy tua.

The heisman is the most overrated trophy in sports

I don't understand why Oklahoma gets so much Heisman love. Giving the award for the outstanding player to Jason fricking White was criminal.

The SEC is not without it’s annoying fan bases, coincidently the most annoying and self righteous being a former big 12 team, but the OU fans back in 2003 were insufferable. Probably my worst experience with opposing fans. Nothing has changed based on what has been posted here by them.

I will always root for an SEC team against the big 12. Especially when a Heisman winner is involved. Even if it is the sister fricking inbreds from Tuscaloosa.

How bout this? A&M won the Heisman and then kick OU’s arse anyway in 2012.

Especially when Larry Fitzgerald was so insanely good that year. It was obvious that he was the best player and they sold it that he was “too young” to win it. Outright criminal.

The Heisman trophy would be a great marketing study they have done a great job with it..... Now can someone explain why the hesiman is more important than the Maxwell, Walter Camp Etc

They'll probably roll out another QB next year that will put up crazy numbers playing in the defenseless BDF then get beat when they have to play a complete team in a bowl game. The Big12, where stats matter not the end game.

Well when you're in a league full of Baylors and kansases, it's easy for a an average talented QB on an above average team to shine every year.

Im not sure why anyone fricking takes the heisman seriously after they gave the award to troy smith over darren McFadden because he was a sophomore. Then the next year gave it to tim tebow who was a sophomore. When Dmac deserved it both times.

It's almost like they should have given it to someone else this year.

Things that are clearly typos -- reversed letters -- don't rate all-caps.

Things that are clearly anything other than an asteroid about to obliterate the Earth don't rate all-caps.

Things that rate all-caps: asteroids about the obliterate the Earth. End of list.
