Discuss:

Injury prone for sure, but is he still worth the $14 million signing bonus he received for one tackle since September 7th, 2014?

If he had gone to Bama he would be.

He didn't have time to listen to Saban.

It's his second season for God's sake.

Remember when Rolando McClain, Mark Ingram, Kareem Jackson, and Dre Kirkpatrick were busts?

If Clowney can stay healthy, the Texans are going to be a fricking nightmare

That's a reason to have this discussion now?

at this point, yes.

Bust overall? No, too soon. If he is frail this year then I would start heavily leaning towards this conclusion.

When I think of a bust, I think of a player who just sucked on the field.

How can a player be considered a bust due to an injury? Give him a chance to actually play.

I never thought Clowney was always into it. I've seen him look like the second coming of LT and watched games where the announces kept saying where is Clowney? He would coast in some games.

I've always questioned whether he would make it in the NFL not because of his immense talent but just because of his lack of want to. He put a good lick on that UM back that got him a higher draft status believe it or not but if there was ever an overrated player it might be this one. I think he's gotten paid and frankly couldn't care less about being a star in the NFL. He's certainly not the first.

What? People still believe this? If anything it was one of the worst things to happen to his productivity because it did give him sudden attention that teams planned around.

The guy did much, much more than hit an RB.

As for his NFL status.. the dude had a torn meniscus that lead to him having to have microfracture surgery. This isn't some small, "my elbow is sore so I'm going to be out for 8 weeks.

The dude is entering his 2nd season, after getting hurt early in his first.

Jesus people.

Seriously, dude, he was injured his first year, calling him injury prone is a little premature. Way too early to call it yet.

Is it even possible to be a bust after 1 year, much less a year in which the player didn't play because of injury?
