Northern Illinois is a better program than Syracuse.

OSU has still yet to look impressive in their run of abject cupcakery, so I think Michigan State should have jumped them by now. I don't really disagree with LSU dropping for struggling with an ACC also-ran led by a 5th string quarterback, but I do think they should be consistent and drop OSU as well.

Doesn't matter their play, osu will be ranked higher because they are osu.

It doesn't really matter at this point. Next week most teams start to get into the heart of conference play and we will start seeing much more movement in the top-15 IMO.

Doesn't matter. Long way to go. You don't get a ring for the September championship.

Because Brandon Harris is pedestrian, and if you can't throw the ball you're not going to win anything.

Well you'd know something about not winning anything.

They did not drop LSU based on the Syracuse game. Does that mean they dropped Georgia too? No, they moved UCLA up.

Michigan State's win at home versus Oregon does not look as great now since Utah went into Autzen stadium and destroyed Oregon.

TCU got lucky. Ole Miss struggled against Vandy. Etc. You cannot drop everyone. And yes the voters gave Ole Miss and LSU too much credit for one win each last weekend.

Maybe because polls aren't made with direct correlations between OSU and LSU?
