AU will rival the USC beatsown of OU.

This game won't be close. Oregon isn't strong enough up front.

Then LSU trashes Oregon in September

So what I take from this thread is that Oregon would finish 9th-11th in the SEC. Got it.

Defensive lineman - especially defensive ends - usually weigh less than offensive linemen. It's not like Auburn is going to line up in the Maryland I to run the ball either.

SEC homerism at it's finest. Auburns D is probably better than Oregons, but Oregons offense is better than Auburns. Newton is a one man wrecking crew.

It will be a close contest.

Probably not 9th-11th, but probably third or fourth in the West.

Its not an attempt at trash talk. I would say "how do you beat a paid team?"

but lamichael James gets paid too

try 52 lbs per man difference in Oregons D and Auburn's O.

the 5-10 statement was specifically geared towards Oregon O vs Auburn D.

Don't put too much faith into a weight advantage on the line. Several teams with lighter DL have given big OL hell.

I think our offense is better than oregons.
I also think you guys are forgetting how quick auburns massive lines are....i mean those guys fly for being over 300

IMO Auburn has got the trenches, but AUs secondary vs Oregons overall offense is a potential disaster. I don't think Oregon can stop Cam but I do believe their defense is capable making Cam the only effective offense AU has. That said if this turns out to be a physical, close game, AU brings it back home. If it turns into a shootout- it goes west.
