Bash One of the best players to come through our program in 20 years! It's not Simmons fault who his coaches are teammates are. Simmons is the only player in SEC history to be in the top of points rebounds and assists. He could be more aggressive on the offensive end, but that is not his game. He learned to play basketball overseas where they're more fundamentally sound and team oriented. We have these basketball fans that's probably never even picked up a basketball much less played it bashing this kid. Put Simmons on a Kentucky team or even an A&M team his numbers wouldn't be that dramatically different, but he probably would average close to a triple double. In a few years when Simmons is doing good in the NBA. My fellow LSU fans that is bashing this kid,is going to be the first ones throwing him up in everybody's face on here

Let us know when you get to a Final Four. We got to our last one partially at your expense. I'm sure you weren't even watching A&M basketball back then. Did A&M have a basketball program in 2006?

Also Simmons has not shown killer-instinct or a strong work ethic despite Jones's inadequacies.
