I think a lot of LSU fans genuinely wanted him to leave, if for nothing else so that we could feel what they've felt...
I just don't think too many of them are crushed (melting) that he didn't. Maybe a bit let down. It seemed such a sure thing for a half a day or so there.

But it's like we said earlier. If Nick AND Mack stayed, the meltdown from Texas fans would be H-bomb scale.

It's just bizarre now. UT did absolutely nothing to put these rumors down. Those HS recruits have to be asking themselves "What in the hell is going on?"
