A) you didn't "send" him to us. He bailed on you after 5 years (all he could stand) for the Dolphins. Then he came to Bama 2 years later where he has stayed for 11 seasons now. he hasn't been "your" coach in 13+ years. might be a good time to move on and throw your support to Ed.

B) every coach at Bama over the last 50+ years has had at least one 10 win season, Bama has won SEC titles in every decade since the 60s, and even idiots like Shula and DuBose were able to manage being ranked in top 10 during their time at Bama. I'm pretty sure Bama would have found a way to be ranked if someone other than Saban had been hired on 1/4/07.

C) Your point is irrelevant b/c it deals in hypotheticals. In reality, Bama has been #1 at some point in each of the last 10 season, has won 4 national titles and 5 SEC titles during that time. I much prefer reality over your hypothetical, but I understand you've got to cling to hope somewhere.
