Dude has potential to be something special.
Guice is the real deal.

I told you the other day that Henry played against 4 top 10 defenses last season and averaged 168 a game. No, LSU was not one of those defenses.

Chuck Webb rushed for 294 and 250 against Ole Miss and Arkansas respectively in the 1989 season, and he was splitting carries with Reggie Cobb.
OP is a liar.
But Guice is Nice tho.
In fairness, I doubt he meant to but I did think of the same scenario. The stat my be more complicated but I haven't read past your post to see if someone says so yet.
PS - Those olines were a sight to behold too. I miss the old skool OL. No one seems to do those things much any more, even good OLs.

Jesus Christ.... I guess you CANNOT be a good rb unless you put up over 100 yards against the best rush defense in the past 50 years. Do yall really not realize that the Bama defense is just THAT good?
Hurd did well against Bammer in '15 (season before last) but our OL played really well that year and incorporated a lot of techniques Bama wasn't prepared for. Can't remember the Bama player but it was one of their big stars who is now in the pros who mentioned we were the toughest OL they faced.
Unfortunately for us Hurd sandbagged this season and we never managed to play a regular rotation at OL (against Bama we has zero starters on OL and an injured franken-line was the story of the season for us). Freaking injuries.
OTOH, LSU has typically played a more standard blocking scheme and lately the OL has been a disappointment. NONE of that takes away from your RBs tho. Guice is amazing, imo. So was LF.

How many did he get in the Bama game? He's just like Fournette they run good when playing against a shitty Defense.
Yes, your boys did good. Why don't you go find some other Bama fans and discuss it with them instead of jumping into every LSU thread available?
I am sure somebody wants to hear you go on about it.
Bless your heart.

Against Bama I think they only gave him 2 carries.

Moe Williams. Now, that's a blast from the past. Talk about a good player playing on shitty teams. I remember homecoming 95 in Starkville. State sucked bad, and Moe ran wild that day, but we still ended up winning like 42-32 for our only SEC win of the year.Moe was a one man wrecking crew.
ETA:After looking Moe up I found two interesting facts. One, he now is a professional horse trainer. Two, he was a part of the Vikings "Love Boat" scandal led by none other that State's very own, Fred Smoot.

Agree. I'm seriously in complete disbelief when I read a post on here claiming Fournette and Guice are overrated based on their rushing stats against Bama. AP in his prime while healthy wouldn't have gained over 50 yards behind LSU's O-Line in those couple games.
It's posts like those that prove the SEC Rant is littered with double digit football IQ posters.

The most incredible realization to me about the OP is it's been 20 years since Moe Williams was in college.
Tell me about it. I had this realization when Benny Snell Jr. broke his UK freshman rushing record this season.

You can't spell Citrus Bowl without LSU.
Those Guice is legit. Should be fun to see him carry the full load next year.
How does the LSU line look next season? Which starters are they losing?

Ethan Pocic and Josh Boutte are both seniors, so they are gone. There's a couple draft eligible juniors like KJ Malone but I expect to see him back next year. The LSU O-Line next year returns enough talent and experience that it should be an improved group from 2016.

He is a beast. How many yards you think he puts up next year with LF7 gone?
Couldn't get one against the Gators two plays in a row.

Let me bump my Guice is the better LSU back comment from 4 months ago.

Guice is good, but your sports media department makes a horrible looking poster.

Yes we realize it....some of the guys here just like to pull your strings. Not running for over 100 yards against Bama's defense does not make you a bad running back. No one does!!! Guice is the real deal!

Its funny how LF was built to be the next Herschel and Bo, but a backup on his own team as well as Chubb were better than him while in the SEC

Guice or Hurts wins the Heisman next year. I'd give Guice the advantage though. He doesn't have to improve on passing. From an offensive perspective, next season will be exciting to watch for both teams. No way our D is as good as this year.
