One of the saddest,most tragic days in SEC history 50 yrs ago this week

The Monday following Tennessee's huge 7-7 tie with Alabama, three Tennessee assistant coaches were killed in a crash with a train.Charlie Rash had just picked up Bill Majors (John's brother) and Bob Jones.
Rash's VW Beetle was hit by a Southern Railways train as the three were headed to the UT campus.Exactly why the coaches were unable to avoid the train is a mystery to this day. Majors and Jones were killed instantly. Rash died three days later. The time of death was 6:53 according to Rash's watch that had stopped. His watch was his 1957 Sugar Bowl watch he had received as a Baylor assistant after their win over Tennessee.
The game that week with Houston did go on. The Vols had a black line added to their "T" to look like a cross.

Vertically from the top of the crossbar or horizontally across the vertical part of the T?

Thanks. That's actually well done. Two black bars did the job. I was thinking it would look weird with one across an orange line.
