Part of that statement is true...

All of its true. On November 28,1981 Bear Bryant did indeed become the all-time winningest college football coach. Who did or didn't do something after then doesn't take away what happened on that date.

And no, Pop Warner's miraculously getting 22 wins years after his death and after Bryant's 315th don't count.

That cheerleader at the beginning was kind of cute. I wonder if she's available now, 35 years later.

I'd never seen this before. #25 was...really good.

Was there. At that time had never seen that much press cover a game.

Sitting by my dad, who is an aubie. Del Greco hits a fg to put auburn up 17-14 in the 4th and he screamed out "we're gonna beat em". Walter Lewis then hits bendross for the td and I just looked at him and shrugged my shoulders smiling.

The image of that game was linnie Patrick, who was in Bryants doghouse all season, absolutely refusing to be tackled on the drive to put it away. Never saw him run like that again.

I will tell you how big a deal it was. The assistant coaches for Bear that were their that year did not wear any of their NC rings after that game. They wore the 315 ring. That should give you an idea of what they thought about it. It was a BFD.

Was this before or after LSU forced him into retirement with that arse beating in T-Town and eventually his death there after?

this is so ignorant. LSU fans..again....over estimating their worth.

Bryant owned, owned and owned your arses some more.

One LSU loss, the first in 12 years, if it did anything, embarrassed the shite out of him. This is one of those LSu stories they like to try to make them comparable to Bama. He owned your arses worse than Saban ever thought about.

Saban's back won't affect his ability to coach. And he doesn't have enough free time to basing that many sluts.
