From afar, I can see depth being a concern?? As that is what Freeze was building up before this shite storm. He was able to bring in good to great talent at a lot of positions, but in the SEC, you need more than 22 players to make it through the season. Depth is part of the problem LSU has been having, with so many players leaving early. Freeze has always been able to score points, but his defense, other than that one year, has leaked points like a sieve. That is where lack of depth is a killer. How many games did you lose in the second half these past few yrs?

Offense is going to be really good. More than capable O line, elite receiving core, and a talented QB.

Defensive line is going to be good. Only question is LBs and saftey. We should be able to out score enough teams to be 6-6 or better. My expectation is to win the 4 non conference games, and 2 of 3 between Vandy, UK and state to get to 6.

I know it was a long time ago, but I think people undervalue how important the season is to the players. I think back to the year Bowden took over in 93. Team had a 5-5-1 record the year before. Were on probation- could not be on TV or play in any bowl game and went 11-0.

I guess what I am saying is there is always hope.

We averaged 32 per game and D gave up 34.

The coaches hope to turn it around this season to 36 and 24.

Winning.
