This chant occurred during an injury timeout, right? Hmm...

I feel that LSU has ceded their moral standing to chide us Gumps when we boo during an injury timeout. Booing is much less obscene.

I don't remember that (nor do I remember much), but if that's true I promise they were unrelated.

Went to Baton Rouge for the first time this past weekend. Great road trip. Everything (except parking and traffic) was beyond great. But the best part of the trip, hands down, were the fans. They were hospitable and classy. Honestly, the chant was no big deal. After hearing the horror stories and reading the posts here on this site, I was expecting the worst. Thanks for the apology. Not everyone has to be a jerk... even online

Students are just too young to controll emotions like that when alcohol is involved. I have seen several tiger fans stand up against that. Kudos.

Doesn't matter...we should all observe a moment of silence during an injury timeout.

I thought they were chanting "Miss you, Saban!"
I was at the game with my dad. He thought at first they were saying "Love you Saban!" He was close in a way.

Alabama winning in OT was the Ultimate response to the student section.

Thats honestly what made it so funny. They couldn't do anything but broadcast the game. People act like they aren't going to show LSU-Bama or LSU vs any top ten team on TV if we curse. but they can't/

Also frick you.

Oh frick you and Nick Saban. How dare you apologize to him

Grow up. The man set the foundation for the success both he and Les Miles have had at LSU. This is best era in LSU football history, and I'm not sure we would have had it without Saban pushing for better facilities. Miles has built on it. I'm so tired of the butthurt toward Saban from the sizable idiot portion of our fanbase.

I'm grateful to Saban, and I'd take him back at LSU in a second. Again, grow up or just go away.

The one thing that Facebook has taught me over the last few months is that there isn't one fan base in college football that has class.

I don't understand why after every game that's the first thing that comes to people's minds. It means nothing. It accomplishes nothing. It can and has been said about every fan base in the country.

Anyone not named Nick Saban who was offended by this is a bleeding vagina. Only people worse are those who apologize for it.

Its not Saban you need to apologize to. It's all the kids and decent mom's (LSU and Bama) in the stands. And it wasn't just by your students. The whole damn stadium was singing it.

But nice gesture anyway.

I doubt Saban reads this board. Just seems you are either looking for attention or you want everyone to know how good of a fan you are.

I agree with LSU students myself. Frick Saban!

I'm sure you do...you were probably one of the thousands of douchebag AU fans booing injured players on Saturday.

I think it is the most fun away game. LSU is full of characters that it's makes every game really fun and interesting.

Case in point. Had upper level seats for this game. Went to Chimes bar for second half. Kinda knew the game was going down to the wire and wanted a good view to watch it all. After the game a horrendously drunk LSu fan dropped trough and started urinating on the floor, against the wall.

I was disgusted but I also thought it was hilarious

If there were any parents who brought their kids to an atmosphere that prides itself on partying and drinking hours before the game and expected a pg atmosphere, they were foolish and naive.
