This. State has home field advantage, but they've never been this high. Can Mullen keep them focused? Not sure, but as much of a hype machine that he is, I just wonder if State players can remain focused in the biggest game of their program's history.

They are probably about as worried as we Bama fans were last week......guess we will find out if they should be.
I think this is the two best teams in the west right now. Might not end up being the 2 best. But right now they are.

MSU is good, we're good. They're 3rd, we're 2nd. We could lose.
But, I don't know a single MSU person in real life, other big programs have already taken the sting out of losing to a program that generally isn't that good, and I don't think this is the start of some 10 year stretch where MSU is going to be especially competitive.
So, if MSU beats us, they probably earned it this year. It's a crazy season, and as long as we play decently, I won't get too worked up over the outcome.

Assuming you can do this (KSU) and assuming you can keep our passing game largely in check (KSU) and assuming you can score enough to win (not KSU) you'll be well positioned.

I mean it's not like after our seniors graduate, we're going to be back at square one. We've consistenly been bringing in more and more talented players, and our coaching staff has developed them accordingly. I think this is the beginning of a new era in the SEC tbh

I'm not going to say this is a one year thing, but I'll need more to be convinced that MSU is going to pull itself way above its historical average while the SECW gets more and more competitive.
But my point is that you're not our rival, and I'm not concerned about you supplanting our position in the conference over the near or long term (beyond this season), so it just isn't that big a deal to me.
Assuming the consequences are the same, I'd rather lose to you than to an inferior UGA team we battle every year.

That's the best grind you've brought so far. Lame still but better. Keep trying. However, I would log out and practice first. Your West Mutt brothers really have this down and are pretty good. Try taking some notes from a real grind thread and then come back and try again.
