On a 1-10 scale, how would you grade your coach at this point in his tenure?

I give Les a 9/10. He's 75-18, has taken us to 3 BCS Bowls, 3 SECCGs, 2 SEC Titles, 2 BCSCGs, and 1 National Title. That's a great run I don't care who or where you are. The only thing that keeps it from a 10/10 is that we slipped a little in 2008-09, but the ship has been righted. If you take those two years out Les is 58-9 in the other 5 years. He also hasn't lost at home since 2009 and has only I think 5 loses in Tiger Stadium in 7 years, with all but 2 coming in 2008. Damn strong.

If you take Chizik's worst two years out he is hands-down, indisputably the best coach in the league

I give lesticles an 8.5.... Not only did he botch the NC game but failed to have a backup plan at QB when perilloux got the boot

Got to give Petrino a 10 up to this point.
To come from where HDN left us (can I get an 'amen' from you Ole Miss folks?) to where we are now, improved record every year, 21-5 over the last two, is a pretty damn good coaching job.

I really like CBMFP, but I'd rate him at a solid 8. He has turned our program around, but he'll need to win the SEC and a NC before I'd bump him up to a 9.

He can win an NC and you only give him a 9?? Your standards are way to high

Lol - Probably. I see a 10 as being a coach who consistently and continuously wins the SEC, and occasionally wins the NC. God help me, but Saban and Miles are in that category (I think I just vomited a little ).

10. Saban's been successful beyond my wildest dreams. If I had a tiny gripe, it would be the fact that he's won only one SEC championship in five years but it's hard to be upset about that with two national championships, two BCS bowl victories, three BCS bowl appearances, four 10 win seasons, and a 55-12 record. Saban might go down as the best coach ever by the time his tenure is done at Alabama.

8. Bobb has done a better job than I imagined he could do with the dumpster fire that he inherited. Just needs to bring the defense up to the level of the offense to get past the big elephant in the room.

1. Brooks had installed a solid enough foundation that Joker could've built on it. We've regressed.

I agree. Outside of beating UT, Kentucky was garbage last year.

IMO he'll have to get bowl eligible this year or he's gone. The fans are not happy with him and UK is already looking at several season ticket holders who have decided to not renew for this year as a result. If he doesn't get 7 wins this year it's going to get real ugly for him. And I like Joker, but it's one of those situations where the intentions were good in hiring him (for stability sake) but he's just not a very good HC.
