I hope the Aggies stay hot and sweep Carolina this weekend ... That's a tall task but if they take 2/3 we can start to talk about OM sliding into the top 8... FSU losing the first 2 to Duke this weekend really helps us as well.

3 outs away from 2/3 at a minimum.
If OM beats A&M 2/3 then they deserve a national seed (just not A&M's).

Louisville beating no state helps as well. Keeping no state out of top 8 and boosting Louisville up higher and our rpi with it

We've locked up a Regional host and if we can go 2-2 next week then make a run to Semifinal Saturday in Hoover we might be a top 8 seed... Go 3-1 next week and we're definitely a National Seed heading to Hoover... Pretty incredible considering we have one of the weakest starting rotations in the conference.

State is 12-2 over the last 14 and has won 7 straight. Please tell me how Ole Miss is "hotter" than that.

If Ole Miss can get any consistency from their starting pitching, we have a great shot at a deep run. The bullpen is great and the bats are heating up.

Ole Miss was 2-6 in SEC play at one point... We are now 17-10 in SEC play... That means we have gone 15-4 in the conference in that span... In that same span MSU has gone from 6-2 in SEC play to 17-9 meaning you have gone 11-7 in conference play.
15-4 is better than 11-7
Now please let it go.. Your baseball team is more complete than OM's .. Better on paper and you went 3-1 against us on the diamond.

State better not slip up against Auburn tomorrow or the best team they've had in years will be looking up at Ole Miss. That would sting.
