So you dont think Bo Davis has anything on Bama?

You keep wanting to compare Ole Miss to Alabama. You can't see it is different? Different amounts of power?
Different amounts of influence?

That and Freeze and Co are going on national television saying that if a coach paid a player illegally (easily proved as mentioned earlier) then they would fire the coach.

Wow. Right on national television and easily misproven.

So you dont? I was just assuming since everyone else on this board does and you think we are hiding a conspiracy to save a player development coach from ratting.

I don't think Ole Miss did anything more than what every other school has done...or is doing. The difference? Ole Miss does a terrible job of covering up. So. It is your position that ole Miss did nothing wrong?

Exactly. Bo had more power and influence than a nobody coach. But forget that. What about MSU coach? What about every coach that is fired immediately to be the scape goat. That is the typical MO if you are going to be found guilty, yet a player development coach in his 60's is the only one who is going to rat. That is wanting to believe conspiracy instead of common sense.

He was asked a question at a hearing he had to attend. He had to make that appearance on TV. He was under impeachment. Freeze went out of his way and good God at this stupid arse comparison. Bill would not be reelected in 2000 if he had another 4 years and Freeze would not be able to get another job if he lied on national TV is the only comparison you can draw from the two, but shite son.

No. I am on the same page as you, as all programs do this stuff. I accused you of assuming we bought our 2013 class. You denied never saying it. I then used all the posts in this thread to prove to you that you do believe that, which was in response and contradicts your "not paying anyone while under the microscope comment", given we just brought in a better class in 2016.

I appreciate the debate. Neither of us are getting nasty and we arent just dropping "nuh uh, you cheated" and not following it up with why you believe that based off of facts, until this one here. But you have presented plenty of reasons why you believe what you believe. Just follow up with my responses to yours.

State fans should be worried that this could be used to make MSU look even worse. This guy is not some scrub. He is highly recruited target. If Ole Miss kicks him off the team or severely punishes him, it will bring up the whole Simmons thing yet again.

And if it does, what are the consequences?

If he played for the Bulldogs, they'd give him a medal.

I'm with you man! I hate it when people call names. Nobody learns anything. For what its worth, I have no idea what happened, nor do I really care. I think its good for the SEC for Ole Miss to be strong. When I was a kid I used to watch Archie Manning play.....and he was a truly great one. Had he gone to any other NFL team he would have torn up the NFL and he would have gone alongside Peyton, Favre, Unitas and many other greats.

We won't really EVER know what happened as far as Tunsil, etc. And, as I said earlier.....Ole Miss, no matter what they did...did nothing different than any other program in the country.

You really should wait to find out details before making such a blanket statement. Some states have expanded the definition of domestic violence beyond what is the traditional understanding of that charge.

I don't know one thing about Mississippi law, but in Alabama if you call up someone with whom you have or have ever had a domestic relationship and cuss them out, you can be charged with and convicted of 3rd degree domestic violence.

A couple of years ago, Cyrus Jones was arrested (and later cleared) for 3rd degree domestic violence. His alleged offense? He threw a cell phone. Not at someone mind you, just threw it into the parking lot. Since that phone belonged to someone that fell under the domestic definition, he got a DV charge.

As with many things, the devil is in the details.

What a bastard. What did that cell phone ever do to him? Sure, he would occasionally catch it on another carriers network, and yes, it spent all of his hard earned data, but does that really excuse such violent actions?

You are right about that. Especially since the girl was arrested too.

Well there is still a lot of information to come out and this could totally change but the incident report has no physical contact reported or injuries. If that stays the case then I could see him having a chance to stay. But the report also didn't go into why they were arrested so still waiting on facts.

It isn't because OM is cool, I assure you.

Had Jeff Simmons not been arrested earlier this year every OM comment in this thread would be different.

Still doesn't clarify much but I just saw this: LINK
quote:

The Oxford police department’s incident report doesn’t detail any physical altercations between Wiley and the female identified as Legend Fultz in the report. Fultz was also arrested at the same location for misdemeanor domestic violence-simple assault. The incident report details no injuries to either party.

Is there not a video? Nothing of note is done without it being caught on camera these days.

FIFY. Though, are you so jaded that you think an entire fanbase only now does not support violence against women because it makes the in-state rival look bad?

Is Legend Fultz a hostess? There sure are a lot of pictures on her Facebook account of her being on the field during games with other "hostesses".
