This all day long. You had a demoralized LSU coming off their loss in Oxford and had them at home. Not to mention JD was out for a couple of series and not 100% and lost.
We took on an energized LSU at home with their playoff hopes still very much in play and beat them.
This is the difference in our seasons.

Ole Miss “claims” they won the west in 03 even though LSU had the tie breaking win against them and actually played in Atlanta not Ole Piss. Learn your SEC history Yankee
