Ole Miss Chancellor Dan Jones has just said the
Masoli option is a "complex issue."

At least this is not a "NO".

If he's referring to the red tape it takes for him to actually transfer in, then yes, it is a "complex" issue.

If "complex" means he's referring to deciding whether or not OM will accept him, then he and the AD can go to hell for being idiots and blocking out HDN.

Hell yea it's complex. But it's also pretty simple. We don't have but 2 scholly qbs and a PAC-10 champion qb wants a chance to play again at the collegiate level.

Does he have a checkered past? Sure. Is he a "thug"? Not in my opinion, but I realize my opinion will be written off as biased.

FTR, I liked the guy in 2008 when he won the job in Eugene after entering fall camp as an after-thought.

Will the media backlash suck but die down after the 2010 opening kickoff? Without a doubt.

Last I checked they weren't burning couches in the streets of Philly when Reid signed Vick.

Plus, Masoli still has to apply for a graduate school program and be accepted. Those things don’t traditionally happen overnight.

Who really thinks this would be a problem?

Nutt should be the one that has the final say so in this.

So am I correct in assuming that Masoli would be coming in to start? Or would he be a very intriguing insurance policy?
