They saw what we saw after he was fired. Long practices that wore out the team, refusal to change, and he just got plain stale.

If that's what was wrong with him at LSU then LSU hired someone that is 10x worse. Orgeron had Ole Miss practicing in full pads 5 days a week during the season when he was at Ole Miss

No, they won't hire him b/c he doesn't really want to get hired. He is just making a visible show of "looking" for a job so he can continue to get paid by LSU to golf on the weekends.

Ole Miss won't be playing football in 2018-2020. This is their last year. Why would he go?

I'm pretty sure that O has acknowledged that as a mistake and has learned from it. Two things that Les was never really capable of.

I know the "Orgeron has learned from his mistakes" line is getting old, but I guess it's true here. He drastically reduced practice time and added more time dedicated to film study. That's what made us finish the year pretty strong.

This. Nobody wants to hire him and he doesn't want anybody to hire him. And I don't blame him. I wouldn't want to work again if I had all that money owed to me.

I love how picky the Ole Miss fans are about their next coach. Y'all are going to be lucky to get a coach thats currently at the D1 level. Just take a seat guys. It's out of your hands now. It's all gone.

Dude just stop. As hardheaded as Les was you can't even compare the two. As an alum, I find the hiring of Ed Orgeron to be humiliating. He's not a good football coach and we used to be a premier program

They should. They are going to need someone to show a clean face for the program.

Miles can do that, and he's a pretty good coach

So the reports that he deliberately shortend practice is fake news?
