Can you try to be objective once? Yes our receivers are pretty good, but their secondary is at least as good and it won't matter if Jennings or Harris can't get them the ball.

Alabama ran right at us. It worked for a couple drives and then we made adjustments and they had 3 offensive points the rest of the game. Even with running the ball as much as they did, they still threw it 31 times. Have you watched LSU at all this year? Their passing plays consist mainly of screens and long passes down the sideline. As you've explained, that plays into our strength.

I say forget what you have seen from either team this year. LSU will be fired up, second straight home game, biggest of the year. Ole miss will have trouble moving the ball but will connect on some big plays. I'm predicting 4 lead changes.

27-20 LSU

PLS. We've forced more than twice as many interceptions as we have given up passing touchdowns. I know you're trolling but let's at least hide the hook a little

Pretty much illustrates my point. Ole Miss feats on negative plays early in a series and teams being forced to throw. 31 passes against Ole Miss is asking for trouble.

As I've stated, LSU lacks the passing game to keep the defense honest but I'd rather run right at that defense than try to spread it out and throw. The throw is just a mechanism to stop the box from being loaded. The style matchup is still in LSU's favor, but the lacking execution passing is likely to retard the schematic advantage.

Hence my 20-3 prediction, but the matchup isn't what you claim it to be.

Actually pulling for both to be undefeated in the egg bowl.

I can agree with this.
