FSU is an elite team that is opening the season against an SEC 2nd tier opponent. FSU has one of the best players in college football running the ball for them. FSU will not lose the game.

Could say the same about LSU with LF but how did that workout for them

Just curious, what is the Vegas line on the game? I presume under 7 points either way? Both teams have had the whole off season to game plan & I'll take Jimbo's offensive mindset over Freeze's, though, obviously, Kelly is the better QB.

It is FSU -4.5 I think. At least a couple of those points are because it is essentially an FSU home game even though it is in Orlando.

Last I saw it was down to FSU -3. Started around FSU -6.

Sorry it is FSU -4 and started FSU -9.

Fournette could not run on OM, so I am not sure how Cook will run on them either.

The whole game will rest on the arm of the FSU QB. If this first time starter can keep the OM defense honest, then FSU will be able to stay in the game. If he cannot, then OM will blow them out.

I think OM wins 35-10 because I don't think FSU will be able to move the ball and because Swag Kelly may be the best QB in the country throwing to the best WR Corp in the country.

lol, Ole Miss doesn't even have the best wide receivers in the division, I'll be pulling for them, but come on man!

The only question I have of OM is can Kelly succeed without having a genetic oddity like Treadwell on the outside to throw to. If he is still comfortable and can run that offense they will be fine. If not FSU will do their best TCU impression.

I just can't see Ole Miss winning this game although I'll be rooting for them against the ACC. Just feel like there has been to many distractions for them to play to there best potential.

Hes got a Stringfellow to throw to, pretty close as far as body type. Also a guy on the opposite whos really fast. Slot should be better with Van Jefferson. Kelly will have no shortage of people to throw to. Weapons on the outside is not going to be Ole Miss's problem for the foreseeable future.

He is not Treadwell but have you seen Stringfellow. Adeboyejo is very solid WR and the young talent in Jefferson, Lodge, Brown and Metcalf are special. Throw in Even Engram and he has plenty of talent to throw to.

You better hope he has more than that.

Ole Miss wins this one. Florida State has no proven quarterback, they cant just line up and pound Ole Miss all game, they gotta throw it some. See LSU vs Ole Miss last season. Chad Kelly is battle tested. I like Ole Miss to win a close one.

Haven't seen it yet express, but looking forward to it. Isn't it missing its very best player from last year?

Yes RN was dominate when he was motivated. We have more depth this year. More talent across the board but not as much super high end first round talent.

Last time we played on Labor Day and had a Redshirt Freshman starting for us it was the coming out party of Jameis Winston. This time it will be the coming out party of Deondre Francois, and Ole Miss you're invited!
