I'm tired of all these cocky Ole Miss black beer posters posting topics about how they're going to blow over the number team in the SEC West. Especially after only beating Vanderbilt(who almost lost to UMass) and Texas(who has no offense or defense)

In my last breakdown report, Ole Miss vs. Texas, I may have been a little off with my original prediction that Texas would handily beat Ole Miss but if you would have read the breakdown report, you could see that I gave Ole Miss a good chance of pulling off the upset. This week, I'm going to go out on a far limb and say that Alabama, the #1 team in the SEC, will beat Ole Miss.

And here is why.

Pass Offence

Ole Miss
Bo Wallace is simply inconsistent, throwing an interception in both the Southeast Missouri game and throwing an odd looking interception in the 2nd quarter of the Texas Game. Ole Miss fans like to compare their offense to Texas A&M's(lol), but unlike Texas A&M's Johnny Football, Bo Wallace will probably throw an interception or two. And unlike Judy Football, Bo Wallace is not a run threat. On the outside, you have Donte 'He's no Mike Evans' Moncrief and Laquon Treadwell and that's pretty much it, big deal.

Alabama
AJ McCarron, simply enough can not be said about this stud. His stunning girlfriend, the flow of his jet black hair across his eyes, his boyish charm. AJ is a threat to any secondary, which would make one assume that he would be a threat to a team which has no secondary such as Ole Miss. Amari Cooper and Kevin Bell will have field day.

Advantage: Alabama

Rush Offense

Ole Miss
This one is pretty simple, Ole Miss has one running back(excluding Barry Brunetti who is primarily a tight end), Jeff Scott. Jeff Scott is real small and his only chance is to run a sweep to the outside and hopefully beat the defenders, but with Alabama's quick defensive backs and ends, this isn't very likely to happen. If the wind is blowing in the direction toward Ole Miss's offense, Jeff Scott(though hardly a threat) is eliminated.

Alabama
Alabama has TJ Yeldon, which is what would happen if Trent Richardson and Mark Ingram conceived a baby together. TJ Yeldon is the top back in the SEC right now and when they really want to hurt Ole Miss, they can put in that big guy who I don't his name but yah.

Advantage Alabama

Pass Defense

Ole Miss
Apparently Charles Sawyer managed to not get a DUI last weekend and will possibly play this Saturday. Ole Miss's secondary is the worst aspect of their defense(and that's saying a lot).

Alabama
With playmakers such as Mike Fulton and Deon Blue, Alabama has a secondary that gives pass-happy offenses fits(such as Ole Miss).

Advantage: Alabama

Rush Defense

Ole Miss
As the shootout in Austin, Texas proved. The landshark defense is incapable of tackling or pass rushing(which is great for Alabama whose offense is fairly dependent on lack of ability to tackle or pass rush). The estranged relationship between Denzel and Robert due to Denzel breaking both of his legs in the Southeast Missouri game is taking its toll on little brother Robert whose highlight reel primarily consists of him getting easily manhandled by an offensive lineman.

Alabama
With future first rounders such as CJ Mosely and Courtney Upshaw, Alabama is outfitted with some of the fastest and biggest and strongest defensive blacks in the conference; not that they are really needed since Ole Miss only has Jeff Scott.

Advantage: Alabama

Special Teams

Ole Miss
Ole Miss has taken the whole giving up touchdowns on kickoff and punt returns to an art form. Andrew Ritter, who has a career long of something like 32 yards, is pretty much a mute point since Ole Miss won't be seeing the red zone very often.

Alabama
Christmas Jones, enough said.

Advantage: Alabama

Coaching

Ole Miss
Coach Freeze may be okay at pre-game speeches but he's exceptional at making bad decisions.

Alabama
Nick Saban is use to coaching the big games, as long as they're not like NFL big games. With an easy domination of Colorado State, Nick has plenty of time to prepare(if even neded) for the inept black bear offense defense.

Advantage
Alabama

There is no way that Alabama loses this game.

SEC Stats

Ole Miss ranks better than Alabama in more areas than vice versa. This will be a good game, and one possibly won by the Black Bears.

Please don't ever swap up between offence and offense in a single post again. I have terrible OCD with certain grammatical elements and that is one of them.

It makes my skin itch.
