This is insignificant compared to reaction we would have seen had Obama lost. And any Obama supporters who are honest with themselves damn well know it.

People take politics way too seriously.

Look at the Election board. Some of those people are completely insane.

My problem with it is that it's embarrassing.

Considering the 60s, it's pretty minor. See, progress.

I can't wait to hear RebelGators spin on this.

He decided to just let every other fan base do it for him. I find it amazing the school that tries the brand OM as racist the most is the school that is within the same state lines

And they were freshman. They don't know enough about politics to even care that much. They don't even know why they are mad

Obviously, being white in MS means that they were just klansmen out of uniform. They couldn't possibly disagree with the policies of the president. AMIRIGHT?

Honestly, I don't give a shite one way or another. I voted GOP, but I don't see why people allow who's occupying the white house to affect which side they butter their bread on at home, you know what I mean?

And people laughed at me for my doomsday prepping. I knew there would be catastrophic riots soon.

Unfortunately that is true about most of the idiots in this state and at Ole Miss. They hide behind some stance that they cannot get a job after college because Obama but it is really because they are a hospitality management major with a sub 3.0 major.

I'm right there with you. People get too emotionally invested in things.

There's just always that little simmer of tension here in the deep south. Sometimes it'll bubble up a little bit, like last night. The heat on that pot is slowly going out though.

Why couldn't this of happened at Auburn?

So a fire alarm got pulled and everyone was in the parking lot at the same time as the election was ending, people were talking shite (apparently racially but I haven't seen anything but vague speculation from any source), and then someone lit a sign on fire.

That's a helluva "riot", our grandparents would be disappoint.

You can thank the liberal news media spin. They never miss an opportunity to paint prejudice in the South with a wide brush.

I do think the guys burning the sign were dumbasses because of the negative attention they brought themselves and Ole Miss (even though they were expressing their constitutional right) when you do stuff like that today with camera phones, twitter, facebook, instagram, etc... its going to get out on the internet quick.

I agree your right but who the hell can control eighteen yrs olds and plus the largest group on campus is young republicans they were mad...

but DUMBASSES THAT SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER
