You're nervous because you fear that could be coming to an end if we get a real coach in here.

Unless you somehow steal Saban, Belichick, Meyer, or Harbuagh there is nothing to even begin to worry about.

Some food for thought for you:

Les vs Saban 3-7
Other SEC West Coaches total vs Saban 4-16
SEC East Coaches total 1-9 (2-11 counting Richt vs Saban at LSU)

Les Miles win percentage = 30%
Other current SEC coahces win percentage over Saban at UA = 16.67%

Nick Saban over all losing percentages at Alabama - 14.2%

Miles beats Saban twice as often as the average coach. The only other coaches with more than one win over a Saban coached Alabama in college football are Urban Meyer and Hugh Freeze.

Drac, some people are pretty thick skulled and have a really hard time recognizing satire or sarcasm and the like.

Seems like the Alabama fans are concerned with Miles leaving LSU.

This narrative by Bama fans regarding Les is hilarious.

What's hilarious is that your measuring stick is Nick Saban/Bama. There are very few coaches that can hurdle that bar right now, Les comes closer than anyone in the last 8-10 years.

If Alleva cans Les, who will he look to hire? Can the program afford the hefty buyout + haul in a new staff that will more than likely be more expensive?

if we were going 12-1 or 11-2 every single year and only losing to bama and the odd one off here and there, we would not be where we are.

also it's one thing to play down to your opponents when you also play up to them, but when you start getting blown out on the reg (5 times in the last 2 years, only 1 was to Bama), while at the same time struggling with a Syracuse team starting a walk on at Qb and letting EMU hang around all night, then there's a problem.

You know, I mentioned this exact thing right after that 'Cuse game in these threads and I was basically called a hater and a troll. But I think it was a reasonable assessment. Was LSU ever really a threat in that game? Probably not, but the walk on Freshman Syracuse QB was throwing very well against what was supposed to be a vaunted SEC defense. I think that game was the beginning of LSU's troubles. I don't know if getting rid of Miles is the best thing (unless you get Herman to leave 4 hours from the West to BR. Or maybe Fuente or maybe Bert. But I said this about Jim Tressel when he was at OSU. The college game had clearly passed him by. He was running a 1970's offense vs. teams with high definition spreads. Tough to keep up with that type of offense score for score. Bama (and to a lesser extent Arky) runs that style to near perfection, but you need a lot of 5 star horses for that type of offense too.

Nah. I want you guys to lose out and actually be dumb enough to fire less so you can go back to the mediocre pile of shite you were before Saban. You think what Nick and Bert are doing to you is bad now? Just wait.

This guy found the Bama sidewalk in 2007.

Obviously LSU fans are deluded for thinking we could ever hire a coach of Saban's caliber.

Where, oh where, will we find another coach from a school that is always second fiddle in their state and has been stacking up the 5 and 6 loss seasons while rebuilding from the ground up?

LSU is a historically above-average team. By all means, fire Miles - the second best coach in your entire history. It probably won't work out how you want. LSU rivals Auburn in terms of delusion.

I don't know how this got four down votes because its spot on
