Guess which one was an All-American last year while the other wasn't.

Landon didn't start until midway through the season.

They are both great but Landon will be the first one off the board when the NFL draft rolls around and for good reason. Some places even have Landon in the top 10.

I don't think we will see Bama's best secondary until Eddie Jackson is 100%. Cryus Jones has improved a lot, but he still worries me in run support.

I think Tony Brown might be end up the best to ever play the position for Saban at Alabama.

Meh it isn't too much of a reach. He's the prototypical build for today's corner with his size and speed.

Umm what is so special about this?

Him catching a pass with no one within 20 yards of him? is that an accomplishment at Bama?

So Ole Miss fans don't understand that a receiver not having anyone around him while running his route is usually an accomplishment? Interesting.

You dont get 20 yards past the deepest guy while running a Go by "running a good route"

Thats called blown coverage

Blake Sims >>>> Bo Wallace
Amari Cooper > Treadwell
Deandrew White = Cody Core
Bama RBs > OM RBs
OJ Howard > Engram... without question
Bama oline = OM oline
Bama Dline < OM dline
Bama Secondary < OM Secondary

The quarterbacks aren't even close.

Engram- 14 Rec 175 yards. All SEC Selection, Preseason 3rd team all american, preseason all 1st Team SEC

Most Bama fans have been disappointed in the fact that he has just not been targeted this year. He is an elite tight end that is not being utilized. Last year when they decided to use him he was on the money. I can understand a non Bama fan not being impressed because of lack of numbers. But if you watch him play you understand just how good he is. I actually expect him to have a big game this weekend if the OM Secondary is as good as they're supposed to be. He is a matchup nightmare and if the secondary is slowing down the WRs then then Howard will be there making fools of linebackers.

Also Engram was 2nd team all sec last year tied with two other TEs.

OJ Howard was preseason 1st team this year.
Engram didnt make 1st 2nd or 3rd

Sorry got Engram info from this on his page from OM website

quote:

Preseason All-SEC first team (CFB Matrix)

Mentioned last year for Howard.
14 for 269 and 2 TDs

Last year for Engram
21 for 268 and 3 Tds (In 8 Games)

I can concede Simms possibly being better than Bo (i personally wouldnt do it till see i see Simms beat a team with a pulse) but Engram > Howard

And we have an Elite TE that IS being utilized. So our TE > Than Bama TE.

Pretty Simple

Alabama's wide receivers will tear Ole Miss a new a-hole.

I'm all for being confident and thinking your team can win, but from all the talk of UM fans, you'd think UM actually thinks this won't be a close game. Absolutely mind boggling.

If this is truly your analysis of what Ole Miss fans really think, you spend too much time on the rant and need to go outside more. This is a place for stupid shite like this. Real world most think this is going to be a nasty hard fought game and hope we can pull off the win.

Ole Miss' secondary is awesome and unfortunately Alabama doesn't have any receivers that match the quality of Boise, Vandy, Memphis, and who frick ever the other team was Ole Miss played.

Is doesnt matter if Ole Miss' secondary is better.

Bamas secondary is defending against Bo Wallace. Being the kind bro he is and doing most of the defenses work for them.
