Nope. From what I've gleaned from tRant this morning and afternoon, we're gonna finish at 8-4 (4-4), Auburn has never gotten lucky, and the Landshark Defense is a fraud.

They held Bama to 14 and State to 17. I have been impressed with their defense lately

If you offense can attack our safeties one on one, you are going to gain a few long TD passes during the game.

The defense is much improved over what has been out here the previous 8 years, Spaight is the SEC's leading tackler.

We do this a lot with Engram and Sanders.

Not even thinking about y'all yet

Losing Treadwell is huge for your offense. Plus, you guys have probably lost your edge. Honestly, we need you guys to win out, as it helps our chances...but I just don't see that happening. I'm not sure your offense will stay up with MSU without Treadwell.

It didn't appear to be that hard to hold Ms. State under 20 points, lesser team's defenses may have a problem, but OM's defense is good enough to make it a game.

You're a god damn fool if you don't think we'll be up and ready to play against Arkansas and Mississippi State.

Our defense has to get it's swagger back though. We've lost it for the moment.

I think it's more of you just finally played some offenses where you would struggle. You guys didn't want to believe that when we were telling you that was a big reason why our defense looked so poorly....because we had already played Auburn and Miss State....we told you that you would get your chance against them. Your D is fast, but a good offense can and does move the ball on them.

Our defense put us in a position to win the game against Auburn, which is far more than you can claim for the LSU defense in regards to Auburn's offense.

there's not a lot of difference there, honestly. I know you guys are all blown up about this #1 ranking, but the fact is that you have played 2 good teams, getting LSU very early in the season when they weren't good, and with Auburn literally spotting you 21 points with turnovers. You have a good team. I will be shocked if you win the SEC.

you are correct...the LSU defense that played Auburn is the same defense that played Ole Miss....I stand corrected. Unbelievable. Auburn scored 6 more points on us than you, and they caught us early in the year and AT AUBURN....I can tell you this much....if they came to Baton Rouge today, they won't shred us like you just got shredded. Ole Miss has a good D. They don't have a great D. All that shite about being the best in the nation....that was simply a result of playing some poor offenses. Fact.

OK fella...suit yourself. That's the main problem with Ole Miss fans...the arrogance. You can't reason with them. Have a good day, good luck on the rest of the season, and prayers to Treadwell so that he fully recovers.

You're stating opinions and then following them up with "[f]act."

No need in posting any further.

Nothing has changed. LSU is still a below average football team. QB play is atrocious.

- lose to a team on the road that State thumped on the road
- lose to a team at home that State thumped at home

= great chance to beat State.
