Raising Cane's is a decent substitute for Abners when you want tenders and there isn't an Abners close by. They have good sauce and tea. It is better than Guthries and Zaxby's. Based in Baton Rouge.

Abners blows. I went to Ole Miss, most people don't like that place. Quit being a homer.
Zaxby's is best easily. Then Canes. Then Abners.
And Canes started in Baton Rouge and has moved to Houston for their headquarters I believe.
ETA:
Canes when it first started WAS WAYYYY BETTER. Bigger tenders, more tenders, etc. When they got huge, the quality went down a bit. Abners is still easily the worst.

Their headquarters is definitely still in City Plaza; however, I do believe they have an office in Dallas
