Not really
Yeah really. Same with LSU and their Saban years. Saban, whether some LSU fans want to believe it or not, is directly responsible for your last two national titles and your current program state.

There's actually a faction of OM fans that subscribe to this. I don't know whether to pity them or laugh.

Alabama has 6 national titles outside of Saban and Bear years, 5 before Bear Bryant even coached at Bama. I don't have the record book in front of me - how does that compare to Ole Miss?

First, we have a 51-10 overall against ole miss. Our rivalry with vandy is more competitive.

2nd, coaches at Bama who won titles that u don't mention.
Frank Thomas
Wallace wade
Red drew
Gene stallings

You've had one, one coach whoever did jackshite and he's been gone over 40 years. No ole miss is middle of the road ......at best. Bama has been a power since 1925.

This is from a black bear whose team will be in the turlet bowl after the NCAA neuters them.

Alabama would be middle of the road.

By middle of the road do you mean a very good football program?

And if it weren't for the Bear Bryant and Saban years, Alabama would be middle of the road.

Dear Miss. State,
I would have like to have done this in person but we both know that you no longer allow me to come to Starkville. You know, after the A.J. Brown and Willie Gay purchases. Plus, let’s be honest, there is really no reason for me to come to Starkville unless we are paying four star recruits.

Am I right? But I digress. I write this letter to inform you that I think it’s time for us to see new people. It’s time to end this rivalry.

Honestly, we’ve just grown apart. We’re going in different directions. We’re hanging out in different crowds now. We are paying-to-play with the pretenders crew. We go to parties with The USC, Miami, and SMU's of the world...
I know you went to Atlanta once, but we really like to hide our insecurities by hanging banners.

quote:

Things like "co-championship titles", endless scandals, and top-notch bagmen. We needed a rival we can respect. Someone who understands what it’s like to be the never-was of your state. Yes, the rumors are true. We have started a rivalry with Auburn university.

State fans, I feel sorry for you.

I've always wondered why the SEC didn't give us some kind of award for having to share a state with them.

The state gives monthly checks to a lot of your fanbase. Their is your reward...

Didn't you just get off of probation? Something about a used mustang. Get outta here with the no cheating comments. Everyone in the SEC breaks some recruiting rules.
