Why would Freeze want to show his arse right in Harbaugh's backyard?

I would agree totally. Makes no sense at all but I'm just stating from the two who have been spot on that OM is offering hanky panky to land several. We shall see but my two guys know more about this than I do and they've nailed shite like this too often for me to just ignore it.

First they learned how to "recruit" like you guys, now they're learning how to process bad PR... Freeze is somehow trying to make it as an adopted member of the Saban coaching tree.

Exactly my thought as well. Most Gubenatorial and Presidential Administrations on a statewide and national basis dump potentially negative info as late in the week as possible in order to avoid the typical 24-hour News Cycle. My guess is the Holiday, the NBA playoffs and MLB will be their hope to bury this stuff from getting as harsh amount of the spotlight as it would otherwise.

Honestly no idea. Just got wind of it yesterday and I trust my sources. Yeah I know "sources sources whatever" but they've been spot on since OM got under investigation.

That's it. Just got response from email when I wasn't sure. No commits from there however so gotta give OM a pass until I see it happen.

ETA: Of course recruiting is not over yet so we shall see. If they land guys from there then we will know. It will be interesting if OM decides ncaa hammer is coming so why not keep pulling the same garbage so when probation is over they are stacked with big recruits.

NCAA can't/won't do anything. Without having a full blown video of a transaction, they can't do anything. This, in turn, will open the flood gates for all schools interested in competing, to join in the "pay for play" scene. NCAA is officially obsolete and has been for a while now.

He's 2-2 against Bama in his 4 years at Ole Miss. Both of his victories were by 6 points each. His loses were by 19 & 25 points.

During Hugh's 4 seasons in Oxford, Bama has won 2 national titles, 3 SEC titles, and been the only team in the playoffs each season.

Congrats on those 2 wins though.

2 SEC Championships ~ 1 National Championship ~ 1 Heisman winner in the last 2 years. I'm so fricking alarmed.

They didn't make the NOA public so why publicize the response to the NOA?

Because it is a public record.

They didn't immediately make the NOA public because it contained accusations that required a formal investigation and response. OM was able to withhold the letter because releasing it upon receipt from the NCAA would least hinder if not completely destroy their ability to do a complete an thorough investigation and response. Withholding it at that time was a legitimate action.

Now that their response is complete, they'll be bound to comply with any public records requests regarding both the NOA and their response. They know full well that those requests will arrive in droves whenever the NCAA deadline passes, so they might as well go ahead and release both documents and save everybody a few bucks that would otherwise be spent on attorney fees.

Bar-b-que'd with some tangy molasses based sauce. Oh hell yeah!! I live over here in Texas and the sauce is "spicy". Too much Mexican influence to be real BBQ sauce.
