....isn't this series being played in Oxford??

yeah, but the umps care alot more about going home than anything.

Anyways, like it matters where the game is being played.

I know I may be hijacking the thread, but is there a possibility Georgia doesn't make the tourney? That would be epic.

I don't think there is any way they don't. A team ranked high most of the year. No way.

ETA. I was thinking NCAA Tourney. I'm getting ahead of myself.

Can't argue with that. I just hope you have enjoyed your run.

Could happen, but unlikely. Georgia would have to lose the rest of the games, Kentucky would have to win out. Anything else, UGA holds tiebreaker over Kentucky

pngtiger, they may just NOT win another game the way they are playing now. The bottom has most definitely dropped out of the Bulldogs.

Even if LSU wins tomorrow, we better not fall asleep at the wheel next week. If MS State can beat OM 2 out of 3, they could beat us 2 out of 3. That's SEC baseball for ya'.

Wow...slim possibility. Damn, could you imagine Georgia as a 7 or 8 seed? I know they've been playing like crap as of late, but that match up would scare anyone.

I love the fact that both LSU and Ole Miss lost series to the worst teams in the conference.
