Lane was turning into the fat Elvis but a few years in Oxford has done him some good. I think he is a happier person overall now.

When he was hired

He learned how to be a good coach. The experience at Oakland, Tennessee, USC, and Alabama did him good

Now he’s at a spot with lower expectations but he is turning them into a CFB power anyway

From listening to his interviews and pressers it seems that Kiffin has grown into the role of head coach. The experience at several high profile schools and Saban’s tutelage is paying dividends. He has always been an offensive savant.

He has definitely matured. 47 is not the same as 27 if you pay attention. He has a complete commitment from Ole Miss, and he will stay there.
