Think about it for a moment... They are under investigation with huge implications possibly looming. So what do they do? They play dead. They have a horrible season in hopes when the final hammer comes down it wont be as harsh since they were so terrible this year.
It's a proven fact that if you play dead while under attack human instincts are to quit attacking the "dead victim".

Yea, thanks A&M for screwing it up. We had to make it obvious the last two games after you'll rolled over dead against us.

They probably will have cupcake NCAA sanctions. I actually hope they don't get anything so they have no excuses for their shitty seasons and future recruiting. If they can't pay players large amounts of money they are historically a 500 team. Plus they failed to develop all of their big name five stars. RN jumped out a window and is viewed as a snitch rat, Tunsil got screwed by his own family and Treadwell peaked his Freshman year. Plus if you decide to smoke weed at Ol Miss people take pictures of you and post them on the Internet. At least the kids at A+M took pics of Johnny Football doing real drugs, today most of these kids have smoked weed by the time they leave middle school. Not an isolated instance, 5 stars should not come near that state unless they have to play an away game there.
