At least they've been to several CWS, Sweet 16s, and tied for an SECW (in addition to FB SEC and NCs, albeit in the past.

Because as a whole our Big 3 athletic programs are better than Ole Miss. You have football, but State is 14-13 since the 90's began so there's that. All-time SEC titles in the Big 3 sports: State-28 Ole Miss-17. Our programs have accomplished all the feats mentioned. That's why it's a thread about Ole Miss instead of starksville/state college.

Miss State has seen a final-4. We have won more Sec Baseball championships and tourney championships than OM will admit. We can spell OMAHA and played for a natty, We recently played a natty in womens basketball too. We have been to Atlanta for the Sec champ game in a year Tennesse won it all, but it took Tenn late 4th quarter to wear us down.
Not ripping on Ole Miss other than their fans who keep claiming they are the "Pride of Mississippi."

I guess it is too late to do anything about Ole Miss but should there be some kind of qualification for new teams entering the SEC that you have X number of years to accomplish at least one of these task to prevent us from ending up with other teams like Ole Miss? I just don't think we can afford to have two lack luster programs in our conference.
