I actually think that game is going to be fairly low scoring. By low scoring I mean, somewhere in the 25-31 range, but that's still low scoring for Gus vs Hugh's offenses

Meh, not for Freeze.
Hugh Freeze coached teams' PPG as a HC
2013 - 30.0
2012 - 31.5
2011 - 32.5 (at Arkansas State)

While I completely agree that at this point in the season, we have no idea what LSU will be, either in the short or long term, it is not an automatic for anyone.
That said, and acknowledging that they played an FCS school this weekend, in the last 6 quarters of football, LSU has outscored their opponents, 77-7. That touchdown they gave up came on the opening drive of the second half by Wisky.
This LSU team may yet be a 5 loss team or a 2 loss team, but for Ole Miss to pencil this down as an auto-win is pretty absurd.
I think it will be a close game (as always is the case in Tiger Stadium) - not ready to decide who will win yet.

I look for LSU - Ole Miss to be a close game, but remember, Ole Miss has won only 2 of the last 9 games played in Tiger Stadium.

Ole Miss MAY VERY WELL get out of this stretch at 3-2, with 2-3 being the very worst case scenario
Worst-case scenario...I don't think it means what you think it means

I don't think anyone is penciling it in as an auto-win...at least, seriously. Some, myself included, are saying it just to send some LSU fans into head explosion rage.

Ole Miss has played the winningest school in the last decade and an SEC opponent and over the last five quarters lead, 69( ) - 10.

We've also won 24 of our 39 wins in Death Valley. 2 of 9 is a little skewed considering 2 of those, probably more, were won at the last second.

Basically what I'm getting at is don't be confident for a win because it is in Death Valley. We are one of very few teams who can play in Death Valley.

Honestly, I wouldn't be upset winning only two out of that stretch. Three wins would be a very successful run, IMO.

You keep saying this like it's relevant. Boise is a shell of what they were under Peterson.

While I agree, please prove it. There is no evidence to make this statement true.

There are a lot of unknowns about LSU this year, but I swear to you ... Ole Miss is gonna get their arse whooped on October 25th.

We played our worst game since 21-0 and yall still barely beat us. Plus, no one wins in Tiger Stadium any more unless your name is BAMA.

November 26, 1997 UM 36 LSU 21

October 27, 2001 UM 35 LSU 24

November 20, 2004 LSU 27 UM 24
November 18, 2006 LSU 23 UM 20
November 22, 2008 UM 31 LSU 13
November 20, 2010 LSU 43 UM 36

Even with that horrible 2010 team, we only lost by a TD.
