I just saw where Tyler Baron is now a Louisville Cardinal. And Key Lawrence is in the portal.

It's a walk-on named Keyshawn Lawrence, not the transfer from Oklahoma.

Yeah he and the other Tenn transfer both jumped to Louisville during the portal cycle. I don’t think they were ever officially on the OM team. Upgraded by end of cycle for both positions. Rebs will be just fine

He got processed/recruited over. While it would have been good to keep him for depth purposes, he was not projected to start this year. Also he has been hurt this spring and has allowed other guys to jump him in the depth chart.
Let’s remember why he started last year to begin with. Pili got hurt game 1 and was done for the what. Carter ended up getting hurt, and missed 2nd half of the season. He played because of injuries.
This year Kali. Perry, Jeremiah Telander, Carter, Pili are all ahead of him at LB. He was most likely going to be a special teams player if he stays, and rotate in at LB some. Will not be missed like you think.

He was 5th on the spring depth chart. Going from starter to 5th in the rotation has that effect

I read that Baron is back in the portal again.
I think he's looking for a 1 game NIL contract. His next stop will be number 4 in less than 10 months...

I think this year is put up or shut up and if OM doesn't make the playoff some of the boosters with deep pockets who have been spending on NIL aren't going to be very happy with their ROI
