We have many great teams from the 60's and we love the tradition that Vaught left.
Yet we can't talk about that because that's ancient history... but Billy Cannon, it's ok to gloat about him because he won a Heisman. Well if we're going to talk about anicent history, how did Mr. Heisman do in that Sugar Bowl that season

How about the current Ole Miss QB? He wound up dropping back and falling to a knee... but it was only to prevent from the running the score up on the home team in their stadium...

Point is, Ole Miss fans get harassed every day on this very board for pointing out our success under Vaught.

I never said that we shouldn't be proud of all time teams. And you say that we would be proud of a former Heisman winner. Indeed we would. I was just asking about The Convict's performance in that Sugar Bowl that season

Proud that he won the Heisman...yes, that he got caught up in counterfeiting no, but he paid his debt to society and moved on and what he did was mild compared to other crimes by former Heisman winners now isn't it...
