Im just stirring the pot today, and its just because most LSU fans refuse to acknowledge Ole Miss had the superior team this year, by far.

And you lost 1 less game.

LSU fan here:

I don't know by how much, but, I agree that Ole Miss was better than LSU in 2008.

That doesn't change the fact that Ole Siss has never been to the SECCG and hasn't won the SEC since . . . is it 1963 ? That's a long fricking time ago, Ole Sissy boy.

I don't hate LSU either, other than the fact that we are in the same conference division. Thats all.

I don't hate any SEC teams, but I like seeing LSU beat them.

I don't hate any SEC fanbases, but I love watching all of you go at it. This is the stuff that get's me through my boring work days.

I went to Ole Miss for undergrad while Eli was there. Their football games were enjoyable, but cannot even come close in comparison to LSU. I can assure you that Ole Miss fans will claim to be the classiest fans in the SEC, and let them. However, most of them do understand that they will continue to be out classed on the field, which is all that matters. Let these few idiots who are bragging on an LSU sports website enjoy 2008. While they average two wins against LSU a decade, lets continue our trend of a national championship every 4 years. Jealousy will get you nowhere rebs.

Hey just to let you guys know... National powers don't have 5 loss seasons. When was the last time Ohio State, USC, Oklahoma, or Florida had a five loss regular season. LSU is not a national power. I'm sorry to break the news.

Three SEC championships, three BCS bowl games and two national championships since 2001. Looks like nation power material to me.

ETA: LSU AVERAGES 10 wins a year including this year. You had a nice year congrats. Get back to me when you win something.......anything.

It's Ole Miss's biggest rival. There is a beautiful mutual hatred.

I never really had anything against Ole Miss except for the fan's elitism.

Right. And we hate LSU because we are better than they are.

It was a joke. The vast majority of the fans I encountered in Oxford a few years ago were actually very hospitable.

Ole Miss fans fancy themselves as being better than those of us, to the south and east, who they perceive to be uncivilized rednecks.

I get a kick out of their elitism.

This is so true. I lived outside Oxford for 4 eyars. They really believe if they go to Ole Miss, they are therefore better than everyone. It was amusing at first and then it got real old real fast.

I'll let you know where the elitism comes from. It comes from Old Money and education. I'll guarantee you that we have a higher percentage of college educated fans than any other fanbase in the SEC. A majority of our fans are Ole Miss grads, as opposed to high school dropouts, which is the case at Bama. They believe they are better than everyone else just like every College grad thinks they are better than people who are less educated. Ole Miss fans are nice people in general, but they do have arrogance issues.
