Best coach in your program's history only has a .500 record against a women's basketball coach.

People seem to forget that if Denzel dosnt drop that pick 6, ole miss wins by 20. That game wasn't a fluke. That game was a dog fight and ole miss made the plays to win it.

We must remember, Bama only beats themselves. You shall NEVER give credit to the other team. With that said, I wonder what excuses they have planned for a loss in the playoffs? Should be interesting.

Nah, it was a fluke. We even inexplicably started our backup quarterback and he proceeded to spot you like 3 touchdowns.

Not our fault your whole team is addicted to spice.

you lost to fricking memphis. You embarrassed the entire conference and worst nationally. We have to deal with claims like "how good can the SEC be, toledo, Texas Tech, Memphis, houston all beat them."

So yeah congrats on another season. You won your Super Bowl, while Alabama marches on with the big boys.

which I believe can only be done if we bring our recruiting up to a more consistent level. This past year's team average recruiting class was 22. Got to get it in the lower teens to actually win and not just compete for the SEC.
If that costs y'all as much as the Nkemdiches did, you'll need some mighty deep pockets.

The '16 class is already ahead of where '13 was so I guess the $ is flowing. Thank goodness no one else cheats or us poor Mississippi folk wouldnt be able to keep up.

Wouldn't be surprised if we win in Oxford in 2016 as well.. Coker, Kelly, Henry, Dom Jackson, Howard, Pettway, Ragland, Reed, A'Shawn, Geno, Cyrus, Mullaney, Lake, Devall and Dillon Lee... What if Eddie Jackson, Jonathan Allen and Anderson make the jump too ?

That's a lot snaps

No, they deserve credit for winning those games. But the problem is they have nothing to show for it because the rest of you suck and can't beat Alabama, and they suck after they beat us.

Technically LSU has a better record against Saban than Ole Miss does.

Technically Hugh Freeze is .500 against Saban and Les Miles has a losing record against him.

How any Bama or Ole Miss fans are talking shite to each other, is beyond me. This should be a time of uniting, and laughing at LSU, after their poster started a dumb thread.

But to the Ole Miss posters who gave a legit answer, I'll give my take.

I think Ole Miss landed an incredible recruiting class a few years ago, but it lacked overall depth. Y'all have continued to add some great players, that were high on Bama's list.

Ole Miss has also played Bama very early in the season, while we were breaking in a new, non NFL talent QB. I think we used to play Arky early every year, and they were solid, but not contenders. Depth has hurt y'all as the season has taken it's toll. There's still a lot of talent, but holes start to form in different areas.

As Ole Miss adds more depth, which it appears to be headed in the right direction, they will have a better chance of sustaining success throughout the entire season. They've had NFL players, which you need to win the conference. But championships are won with 23-44, not 1-22.

If I were in the same boat (which I am with pretty much all my pro teams), I'd be thrilled with the incremental success that you're having. History isn't in your favor, but history can change. Unfortunately, having Saban in your division will make things hell. But he's the first to say that maintaining success is harder than achieving initial success. Players get cocky, look at Bama in 2010 and OSU this year. It's not really about history, but changing the culture. And Freeze seems to be doing that. Dam by dam.
