Seriously tho, Smart would be a decent successor to Saban at Bama (i.e. a place already established where he can get superior athletes on D), but any defensive-minded HC should be near the bottom of any OM fan's want list.

Look at some other SEC coaches..ie Smart, Muschamp, Petrino, Saban, Richt etc...if fired all could be HC's, OC's or DC's at another D-1 school.

Nuttster should just retire and ride his horses and shite... the game has passed him by.
He was better suited in the SEC 5-10 years ago, but the price of poker has gone up and he isn't bringing any big boy chips to the table.
