I remember when the series was announced and Texas put something in the contract that said they would get the rights to put on any network they choose to put it on.It was like a year before The Longhorn Network was announced.

I've heard from a bunch of Texas fans that the Longhorn Network is a complete ripoff and not worth the purchase.

YouTube some clips of it. It is a 24-hour circlejerk over one fricking team. I couldn't stand to watch something like that about A&M.

Why? They're our rival. You guys obsess over Auburn and take any chance you get to put them down. It's what rivals do.
They do the same about us.

They have a huge regional fanbase sure. But they think they're Notre Dame and that's where you get things like the failed longhorn network.

They certainly have a large, mostly ambivalent fanbase. The LHN has not exactly been a bastion of success. Their own fans dislike it for the most part. What he is saying is not untrue.

I have ATT U-Verse and they carry the Longhorn Network.
It is the worst channel ever. Nothing but a huge suck-off of Texas. Even the old games they show are just Texas wins. Only games they won.

Wait until the backlash of folks once the SEC starts airing their games on the SEC Network (like A&M/USCe). It's very possible that the SECN won't be available by every service provider in all of the tv markets.
