I wonder if he'll try to sue the police department like the little bitch Alabama fan is doing (the one that got tackled by the cop)

Funny. Poor kid was just excited. Probably didn't even realize he was running towards Saban. Not like the trashy Updyke fan who was throwing stuff at people and got choke slammed.
Yeah, that popcorn could have really done a lot of damage.

Dropped him like a used rubber. I think maybe it was not the cop - but the kid locked eyes with Saban - and that was all it took - Saban is a Jedi - a dark side Jedi - but a Jedi none the less.

Pretty sure Miles is a Wookie

The recent bama fan video? He is suing the police? I hope not. If so that is chickenshit. - sucks for him that he got his embarrassment filmed - but thats what happens today - not safe for us jackasses anymore. Just take your lumps and move on.

One thing any of us who has ever gotten in some sort of pickle with the police knows- when you are drinking - you have pretty much given up all of your rights.

We need to find out if that trooper has any eligibility, we could use a player that can hit like that. I think he would be a starter on this team!

Would be our luck that we get him and he would leave early for the FBI

Good thing to remember for those so inclined to rush a field...

Do not run rush up on police escorts. That kid wasn't paying attention.

People chuckle until it's not funny anymore.....
The risk of serious injury is real.

Warn schools the fine will be $250k and they'll get serious about keeping the field clear of fans.

Probably not seeing as the trooper was just doing his job. That idiot was running full speed right at saban. He's lucky that's all that happened to him.

As for the cup throwing Bama fan, I'm not surprised he is suing. He deserved whatever he got because he is an a-hole, but that power tripping rent a cop really could've fricked that dude up. Like permanently. Wayyyy too much force used by him.

The guy was wrong for throwing drinks, but what if he had a medical condition and that throw had killed him? The cop or security guard should have warned him first.

Excessive Force Law & Legal Definition

Excessive force by a law enforcement officer(s) is a violation of a person's constitutional rights. The term ?excessive force? is not precisely defined; however, the use of force greater than that which a reasonable and prudent law enforcement officer would use under the circumstances is generally considered to be excessive. In most cases, the minimum amount force required to achieve a safe and effective outcome during law enforcement procedures is recommended.

Police brutality is a violation of the law. ?Cruel and unusual punishments? by the state (police) are prohibited by the Eighth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The Fourteenth Amendment provides further protection to individuals, prohibiting the state from depriving ?any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law?.

You mean the players wearing pads and a helmet? Something tells me they aren't too worried about some inebriated fans...
