It was a lame stunt/joke. But people get way too offended by everything these days---like people are looking for something to be "offended" about...there is a reason many stand-up comics won't perform on college campuses anymore. And it's not just young people, either---hell they were raised my someone...think of the middle-aged white soccer Mom getting all pissy b/c her "I will not let my child be subjected to that."

I think this ploy worked.
This ball in the outfield is directly responsible for pissing off the Tulane players!
So much so, in fact, that's Tulane player just shoved the ole miss pitcher, and got Ejected from the game.
Remember according to LSU though Tulane is classy.

I couldn't agree more.
The word "offended" is way overused, when often a person simply just means "that annoys me."
But when you're talking about someone who makes light of any event where people died and/or lives were overturned, it's a sure-sign indicator of a loser whose parents failed.

I'm not saying that Mississippi schools lacks class when it comes to winning.. but I'm pretty sure that if Osama bin Laden had been a 5* cornerback.. they probably would have given him a scholarship offer and talked about how he should learn from his mistakes..
